How to make Vegetable, Beef and Rice Skillet
- 1 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 bag of frozen peas (or 1 bag frozen broccoli, cauliflower, carrot mix)
- 1 package chicken flavored rice mix
- 2 cups water
In a large skillet, cook over medium-high heat beef until browned and crumbly. Drain grease.
Stir just the rice into beef. Cook and stir until rice is lightly browned, (about 5 minutes.)
Pour water into beef and rice, stir in seasoning packet and vegetables. Cover skillet.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer about 30 minutes.
