Vegetable, Beef and Rice Skillet

How to make Vegetable, Beef and Rice Skillet

  • 1 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 bag of frozen peas (or 1 bag frozen broccoli, cauliflower, carrot mix)
  • 1 package chicken flavored rice mix
  • 2 cups water

In a large skillet, cook over medium-high heat beef  until browned and crumbly. Drain grease.

Stir just the rice  into beef. Cook and stir until rice is lightly browned, (about 5 minutes.)

Pour water into beef and rice, stir in seasoning packet and vegetables. Cover skillet.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer about 30 minutes.Vegetable, Beef and Rice Skillet
