How to make Cheesy Breakfast Casserole
- 1 pound ground pork sausage
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups milk
- 1 package hashbrown potatoes (thawed)
- 8 ounces mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
Crumble sausage into a medium skillet and cook over medium heat until evenly brown. When fully cooked, drain grease from sausage
Mix together mustard powder, salt, eggs, cheese and milk in a medium bowl.
Add the cooked sausage to the egg mixture.
Place hashbrowns in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
Pour egg mixture over top the hashbrowns. Wait 5 minutes to allow the mixture to sink thru the potatoes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Uncover and reduce temperature to 325 degrees,
Bake for an additional 30 minutes.
